About QDBA

Qatar Digital Business Award (QDBA) is one of the most prestigious awards for the digital industry in Qatar and comes as part of the commitment of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to honouring large companies, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and startups that have contributed to the development of the digital industry in Qatar during the past year. The awards are open to all companies that operate in the digital industry in Qatar to compete for various award categories.

Foster innovation and creativity in the digital landscape, and honor companies and institutions driving Qatar’s technological and digital progress.
Incentivise institutions and businesses to adopt new digital technologies, in order to deliver exceptional services to citizens and residents.
Elevate the quality of digital services to solidify Qatar’s position as a regional leader in technology and digital innovation.
Acknowledge and celebrate outstanding digital companies and inspire them to further contribute to Qatar’s digital growth.
Boost digital competition among businesses to drive Qatar’s digital economic transformation.
Localise technology, develop Qatari tech talent, and invest in digital education to cultivate a new generation of Qatari innovators.
Develop digital services to enhance the quality of life in Qatar through digital health, e-commerce, smart education, and e-governance.

Terms and Conditions

Only one winner for each category will be awarded.
One company can apply in all categories but cannot win in more than one category.
Any missing mandatory information will result in rejection, and rejections will not be communicated during the evaluation process.
Reaching out to any judges will be considered a disqualification.
All material submitted will remain confidential.
The judges reserve the right to amend category selections where appropriate.
The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entry not accompanied by the appropriate supporting documentation.
The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into before or after the judging.
No feedback on the submissions will be provided.
Entries not made through the online submission system will not be accepted.
The winners of each category will be announced during the award distribution ceremony and on MCIT social media channels.
The closing date for entries is the 6th of October 2024, and entries received after the final closing date will not be accepted.
