Evaluation & Guidelines

The Applications have been kept simple and short in order for applicants to focus on addressing the main requirements per category and to be focused on addressing the question – “why do you think you should win?”

Evaluation process

The evaluation criteria and scoring have been focused around a few assessment criteria’s depending on the award category:

•  Strategy and Research: The background of the innovation, what was the issue or problem that was addressed, and the thorough research on this Subject
•  Execution: How was the plan executed in order for your company to achieve the desired goal
•  Innovation and originality: do this innovation break through new capabilities and significant achievements
•  Performance and effectiveness: the overall performance of this innovation against other competitors and previous technology solutions
•  Functionality & Ease of use: Was the delivered end result what was designed and proposed, how easy is it to use, are there any indicators of how usable the solution is. (ex. Penetration numbers..etc.)
• Value of Infrastructure the value can be Social, Economic and financial. Is it a short-term or a long-term value, and how did this benefit your company and benefit the industry on a bigger scale?
•  Impact on Qatari Market: what is the added value of this solution on the country level. Does your service or solution have a direct / indirect impact on Qatar’s infrastructure and development
•  Business Growth: is the cost justifiable, is there a major addressed problem and was it solved by this solution on an industry scale and will it accommodate growth and development

In the spirit of Digital Transformation we are looking for innovative solutions and companies that address a true need, solve a complex or critical problem, or seize an opportunity and create or revolutionize a new market or industry.

In the award nomination, you may choose to address the following areas. Note that it is not necessary to address each area and these are suggested guidelines only. 

Guidelines

• Before you apply for any award, please read the requirements and Terms & Conditions for the specific award.
• Select the Award Category you wish to apply for.
• Fill in the Company and Applicant’s details.
• Attach the supporting Documents.
• Before you Submit, ensure that all requirements are provided to avoid being disqualified.
• Review and then “Submit” the application.
• A confirmation message will be displayed. And an email will be sent to the applicant email.
• If you wish to apply for another Category, you can select “Apply for another award” or else, “Close”.
